That looks so delicious! Blackberries and raspberries are a great trail side treats whenever I hike. I have a blog on traditional american cuisines; since I'm not from the NY area maybe you could check that section out and give me some feedback? It's a collection of old and modern dishes. New York/New Jersey I have under the Mid-Atlantic section.

I agree, berries are fantastic. I have been getting raspberries from our bushes since early June, have them every morning with my home made granola and here is where I deviate slightly, low fat (not skim) milk.

If I could grow bluberries in my soil I would, but that would just take too much work, so I'll settle for my raspberries (ohh shucks :)

Mmm. Black raspberries. One of my favorite summer treats... I buy them whenever I can find them. Mostly we eat them out of hand, but this looks like a fabulous way to enjoy them in all of their glory. The almond cream sounds WAY good!

Yum. We had something similar this morning: scrambled local eggs with chives and blackberries from the farmers market with "almond cream" drizzled over. Almond cream is just almond butter and almond milk mixed together until the texture of whipped cream. So good.
